3,500

Location:

St Helena island

Introduction:

The airport on the Island of St Helena, was intended to assist the island in becoming more

self-sufficient and income generating, and not reliant on the UK Govt for support. The design was initiated by AECOM international, and then developed by myself as part of a ‘design, build and operate’ contract. The terminal and combined rescue building were part of the assembly.

Presentations to the residents and council body on the island necessitated changes for their approval.

We delivered all working drawings after design development was completed. Construction detailing was documented and inspected to be in accordance with UK building regulations and approvals.
